Anime Zaddies to Watch for Winter 2020

How are we doing guys?...

Look, I know what the answer is but I'm just being nice by asking. This winter sucks. It sucks and it's bad and if you're like me, you're holding yourself together by a thread. This Winter so far has been brutal and harsh, filled with controversy, tragedy, and honestly very little to celebrate. I'm so miserable, I haven't even thought of any puns for this opening! However, despite how genuinely lame it's been lately, we need to persist and move forward and the best way to do that, is to look forward to the zaddies we can expect to see during the remainder of the season. So grab some hot cocoa and turn the heat up, it's time to talk zaddies:
Kai Chisaki (Overhaul)
Kai Chisaki (better known as overhaul) is the menacingly sexy main villain of season 4 of the mega-hit anime Boku no Hero Academia. Featuring the sexy voice, unwavering determination, and provocative face mask that you would expect from any great villain, overhaul is a callback to the villainous anime zaddies of yore. Ken Takagi (Rock Lock)
Oh Rock Lock, our black king. I know I'm probably... uh.... a little biased but I absolutely love black characters in anime and surprisingly, I haven't seen too many that are offensive or sucky. Now, they are almost certainly out there this is still planet Earth-616 but Rock Lock is the latest in a long line of gorgeous, fleshed out black people in anime. Also, sis I don't watch the dub but this dub voice is WORKING HENNYYY:




Ban
Ban is one of the all time finest anime zaddies to ever anime zaddy. In fact, the Mochi Mob collective has determined that Ban is easily in the top 5 anime zaddies across the entire medium. He's fun, he's a lover, and he's indestructible i.e., everything that you would want in your KING. Yes, the anime has deteriorated dramatically and has still somehow made it to 4 SEASONS but think back to season 1 and how Ban immediately stole your heart with the first 5 minutes of meeting him. Weren't those good times? Ugh I wanna go back, we were truly being fed! In fact, here is a clip from season 1 to remind you:

The next decade of entertainment and art will have no cultural identity and there will be nothing that sets the 2020's apart from the late 2010's in terms of art, music, or anything creative and we will achieve a level of mundane and dull in our art that the world has never seen before. Whew... guys... the [redacted for my personal safety] are at it again and the buffoonery has reached an all time high. Needless to say, as a black girl, there is a certain level of baseline nonsense that you grow to expect.
